Hello,
I have a denial for 97140 because it was listed as 2 separate procedures. The front office states that the first charge the Chiropractic doctor performed on one specific site. The second was from the office massage therapist and the massage therapist chose 97140 instead of 97124 because Lymphatic drainage was involved in the massage. The insurance company denies because duplicate CPT codes. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
