Is anyone else receiving denials from WPS Medicare for Chemo administration charges on the same day as Xgeva? I recently have received denials on my chemo admin charges and WPS is stating they are bumping up against the Xgeva code (J0897) on the same day. They are not bundling it with the Xgeva admin code but the actual HCPCS code. For instance, I have a patient who received Keytruda & also Xgeva on the same day. I have 2 separate claims: Keytruda- J9217 & 96413 & Xgeva- J0897 & 96372-59. WPS is telling me that our 96413 has no appeal rights. They are suggesting we have the patient come back on a different day to receive the Xgeva. So unfair!

Anyone else having an issue?
