We have a patient at our outpatient oncology clinic that can't give herself b12 shots at home. She wants to come into the infusion center to receive these, but use her own supply of medication. I'm thinking we can't bill for this unless we use our medication?

You can bill for the administration. In order to determine whether or not it is covered, most payers will need to know what drug was given, so that information can be added to the claim with a $0.00 or $0.01 charge to indicate that your office is not seeking reimbursement for the drug itself.
