Has anyone else been getting tons of calls from patients regarding the Change Healthcare hack in February? I am getting about 10-15 calls per day with patient's questioning this problem. Many are blaming the practice for lax security. A lot of our patients are elderly and just don't understand, but I fear it is hurting the practices reputation. 2 years credit monitoring is being offered by Change and I'm getting a bunch of calls asking if it's a scam. How is everyone else handling these questions? Patients are telling me that our name is listed on the letters, but I haven't actually seen a copy.
