Hi Everyone! I am taking the CGIC (GASTRO) exam for the second time in a few weeks. I have been coding in Gastro for 1 1/2 years and found the exam to be extremely different than my daily coding of endoscopy procedures. I have the study guides from AAPC but found them to be quite easy compared to the exam itself. Can anyone offer any additional tips or study guides that might help the success of passing this exam. I am reading the guidelines over and over and have done the study guides several times. What really messed me up with the sequencing of dx codes. Again much different than daily coding in Gastro. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions! Have a great evening!
