Prior to an induction of a vaginal delivery the physician will have the patient come to the hospital the evening prior to the am of induction to either insert Cervadil (which I know is procedure 59200), but at times only a foley catheter is inserted to help start the dilation process. I am uncertain if I would still use procedure 59200...it is still a cervical dilator per se...any opinions on this?
