I am a Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center Coder as of May 2010. I am looking for a remote billing/coding opportunity. I am located in Hagerstown MD. I am willing to travel weekly/monthly to the Baltimore, DC metro area, or Northern VA.
I have been in the medical field for 10 years. I have been billing for 7 years. I have experience with professional and ASC billing/coding.
I have worked for medical insurance companies, my experience included, referral specialist, clinical claims review and processing of commercial medical insurance claims, it has given me an advantage when billing and collecting for physicians and facilities. I am very familiar with CPT codes and ICD-9 codes, as well as HCFA and UB claims forms.
