Hey folks, I have a provider who performed a carotid endarterectomy with bovine patch [35301] and also a carotid angiogram - micropuncture through the bovine patch...does anyone know of a code for the imaging? Believe radiology codes were deleted and bundled into 362** codes but none of these seem to fit...is not selective or via aortic access. It might bundle into endarterectomy.

Next an angiogram was performed to assess the proximal common carotid. The CCA
was accessed through the bovine patch with a micropuncture kit, and then upsized
to a 7F sheath. A retrograde angiogram was performed which did not show any
proximal stenosis of the common carotid. A 5-0 prolene u-stitch was placed
around the sheath site to close the opening in the patch, and two additional 6-0
prolene sutures were placed along the patch for hemostasis. Protamine was given
to reverse hemostasis.

Thanks...
