Can someone help with this..I am a little confused. Is care improvement plus a Medicare replacement plan? Or a Medicare supplement plan?

Care Improvement
It is a Medicare Replacement Plan. With them you have to watch the plan the patient is on bc that are the main backer of the MEDICARE/MEDICAID dual SNP plans meaning patients who switch to the (IF they are low income) may fall under one of those plans.
In our office we do not honor Medicaid, but patients who have these plans that you have a contract with can not be bal billed if thet have a QMBY plan type.
If they are SLMB you have to see what type of Medicaid it really is because some only pay the Medicare premium. Others do not offer medical benefits.
So I hope that is clear as mud for you
