Wiki cannulated screw help

I am in a quandy, and trying to determine if cannulated screws are percutaneous, or internal fixation. I have read different op notes, and all do mention an incision of some form or fashion, be is small, or large, but there are pin guides used, and they sound more like perc pinning and/or IM rodding (although I know they are not as there is no reaming).

I am just wondering if someone can help me to understand what these would qualify as-
