Wiki Cancer staging endoscopy

My physician sometimes does upper EUS for "pretreatment staging" of esophageal cancers. The cancer has already been diagnosed by someone else and the patient is sent to my GI doctor to evaluate the extent of the disease prior to surgery or other treatment. The only portion of this patient's care that my physician is involved in is the "pre-treatment staging." I am wondering what diagnosis code you would use for this procedure.
