Please help with this one. For the orif i have 28485. I have found many resouces stating to YES use 38220 but others stating to use 20999. Or even 20900- but that doesnt make sense to me since they did not extract a bone segement but did aspirate the bone marrow.

Procedure(s) Performed: 1. Harvest of bone marrow aspirate, right calcaneus
2. ORIF right 5th metatarsal shaft fracture
Implants: Allofiber DBF 1 cc
Bone augment injectable 3 mL
After
extensive discussion patient elected to undergo ORIF of right 5th metatarsal fracture with harvest
and application of bone marrow aspirate and allograft.
Attention was then directed to the lateral aspect of the foot where the neutral triangle on the
posterior calcaneus was identified. Harvest site was marked with surgical marker and sterile 15
utilized for stab incision to skin. Sterile hemostats were utilized to dissect down to calcaneal bone.
BMA kit needle trocar was utilized for harvesting of BMA was utilized. Approximately 10 mL of
bone marrow aspirate was harvested. Sample was handed off to back table to be combined with
augment for utilization in surgical site. Harvest site was then flushed with normal saline and
closed with 3-0 nylon suture
Fracture site was flushed with normal saline and
BMA/DBM/augment bone graft to mixture was placed in fracture site.
