Can you bill 29880 AND 29881 together on the same bill? The physician did both midial and lateral and wants to bill each seperatly.

lageral menisectomy separate ? Do you mean to different insurance companies?

Did he both knees? You bill both together unless you did one procedure on one knee and the other on the other knee.

29880 states medial AND lateral

i meant on the same bill. just started working for a surgical center and they are trying to bill with both codes

Then the answer is no you cannot bill both codes. If they did a medial menisectomy and a lateral menisectomy, then you can only bill 29880.
