i am going to be taking my cpc in december and ordered some cd's - i'm a spine surgery coder and the instructor on the video states that when a fusion is performed in thoracic and continues through lumbar or sacrum i can use the 1st lumbar fusion code - is this true?? it would look like this

L3-4 22614 and so on
