Patient was undergoing radical left nephrectomy in a robotic fashion by a doctor not in our practice. During the procedure there was an injury to the superior mesenteric artery. At that time one of my doctors was called in for the repair. Superior mesenteric artery to common hepatic artery bypass was performed to repair the artery. Am I able to bill for this service?
