Wiki Can a NP/PA bill for joint injections with fluoro??

My physician is wanting our mid level providers (FNP, ANP, PA) to perform joint injections using fluoro. Can I bill the fluoro under the mid level? I was not sure that this was within their scope of practice.

No I do not believe they do. Are they able to obtain one?

This is really a scope of practice question, which is determined by each state. You may even find different answers for your PAs vs NPs.
