Ok, this may be a stupid question because I am thinking too far into it; however, I cannot seem to find the answer. 
ICD-9 Burns: Patient had bilateral amputation of forearms due to necrosis of tissue from electrical burns. - here's the question- should I use 943.41 - deep necrosis of underlying tissues [deep third degree] without mention of loss of a body part OR 943.51 - same but withloss of a body part.
