Wiki bupivicaine liposome injection

Hi,

My doctor is a pain medicine who administers facet joint injections, nerve blocks, trigger point injections where he uses Bupivicaine Liposome as the drug for these injections.

Can we code/bill bupivicaine C9290 along with 96372 separately. From Medicare we are getting denials as this is not valid for the date of service. These bills are all from this year 2013.

Please help me.

you would not use a 96372 for facet injections, nerve blocks, or trigger point injections. You need the correct CPT code.
