Hello. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
I read that bronchoscopy with fiducial marker placement with VATS and wedge resection on the same day cannot be billed together - is this correct? I cannot find any other information on it. There are no CCI edits for these two codes being billed together.
I did find in the CPT book that diagnostic lung biopsies any approach would not be billable with VATS wedge resection, and I'm wondering if that's where the confusion came in.
Do you bill for both if done on the same day?
