Hey all Can anyone tell me where I can find info on what needs to be included in a brief encounter? (ex is when the pt comes into the office for just an injection, i.e immunizations etc)..thanks!

If the purpose of the encounter is to receive an injection, then you charge only the appropriate injection administration code. The brief visit is a component of the administration service.

If the question is regarding documentation, the provider of care would need document any pertinant findings relevant to the visit (example, vitals, INR, etc...).
