Hello.
Our BRAVO claims are being rejected by Medicare because we use the POS as 22. We cannot change this because we are an acute care hospital and the physicians office is a department of the hospital. The physicians do place the BRAVO when they perform the EGD and it is read 2 to 4 days later in the office. Is anyone else having problems getting paid with POS 22? I have read to add modifier 26, but I'm not sure this is correct because, as I stated above, the physicians are the ones placing the capsule during the EGD.
Any help would be appreciated.
