I am a coder for a plastic and reconstructive office. I am looking for a code for "placement of bone matrix protein-soaked sponges over fracture fragments." Is there such a thing? Thanks for your help!

There is not a separately reportable code for the placement of the bone matrix. If however you provided the matrix itself then you could capture that however that is usually obtained by the facility in which the patient is having surgery.
