The doctor is going to perform a revision surgery on a patient who has a failed toe lengthening surgery. It became infected and retracted. So the toe is really short. He is telling me that the mpj arthrodesis is not an implant but a bone graft. He asking me to look for codes for bone graft and a HCPCS code that is payable for the arthrodesis segment. If he isn’t actually performing the bone graft wouldn’t this bought arthrodesis segment 12mm frozen be considered an implant
