Wiki Biopsy w/ C&D

Good Afternoon Forum,

I have a question regarding whether a biopsy and C&D can be performed on the same lesion? Our doctor states in his chart note that biopsy with C & D were performed on the same sites. Pathology confirmed malignancy after biopsy.

We would only bill for the C&D with the Malignant code. We wait for the path to come back on those.
