I need help with the CPT. I'm looking at 11102. Pt has a chronic skin wound on the left shoulder. Left shoulder superficial biopsy of skin chronic wound for evaluation of Marjolin ulcer is performed. Surgeon is also doing an explantation for reverse total shoulder arthroplasty so I'm wandering if the biopsy might just be bundled.
Description of biopsy procedure: I marked out for excision for the prior incision site and the chronic wound proximally. I then incised the skin and excised ths area, the chronic wound was senf ro culture to evaluate for Marjolin ulcer.
