My gyn docs are going to do the InTone procedures for patients with SUI. The reps with InTone are telling us to bill an E/M with mod 25 in addition to 90911. I dont understand why they are telling us to use mod 25 on the E/M code. The 90911 has 0 global days and the visit should not require a modifer. Any assistance would be appreciated.:D
 
They are telling us the same thing but everything I have founds states you should not bill the office visit and 90911 unless there is a significate and separate problem being addressed. A 25 on the E/M means that an office visit and procedure were done on the same day.
