Does anyone have any experience with billing post-op care only? Patient was visiting out-of-state and sustained an injury, requiring surgery, returned back to home and one of our surgeons is providing post-op care only. Since patient was seen in the office for a surgery CPT code, local BCBS is denying for incorrect POS for the procedure code. Any ideas on what I can do in this situation?
