My lab has a new client who wants us to provide the surgical supplies such as gauze and other supplies for the specimens. The client is saying they cannot charge insurance for these supplies if we are giving it to them, so how do we bill for these? Do we charge insurance? How? I am totally clueless and don't know where to even start researching this issue.
