Our doctor did an H & P on the pt at 12:10. He left the hospital and was called back at 4:06 to come for delivery. The baby was delivered by the nurse just a few minutes before the doc got to the delivery room at 4:13. We are billing for the delivery of the placenta only. Pt has Superior Star MK. I'm wondering if I can bill and E & M for the admission.
