Can anyone please answer this for me? If a patient is coming from the OR, or as a consult or referral ,and they are new or established to the office, and have a fracture, can we bill an office visit? We do a complete HPI and a Detailed ROS.Also if patient has medicaid and they are new or established with a fracture-should I bill just for the fracture due to medicaid paying for either the office visit or the fracture-and the fracture is generally more?Your help will be greatly appreciated.
