Wiki Billing monthly dialysis dx codes

I have heard that when billing for the month (op dialysis) that not only would you use the dx code N18.6 but it is also necessary to use a status code, just wondering if anyone could shedd some light on this subject & if so I want to thank you in advance CA

Dialysis codes

Yes to my knowledge, you have to apply N18.6 and Z99.2 for dependent on dialysis. I billed for this month and so far our payer has paid our claims. Hope that helps.
