Can provider office's bill for medication administered in the office? I am trying to find out if we can bill for Aminophylline, Nitroglycerine, Epinephrine, Amiodarone, Atropine, Metoprolol, Aspirin, Ventolin inhaler, Oxygen, Lidocaine, Adenosine, and Diphenhydramine.

If you are administering lidocaine as part of an injection, it is not separately billable and is included in the injection.

We routinely bill injections of diphenhydramine without a problem.

We routinely bill tablets of clonidine to bring down a patient's blood pressure. It tends to be a 50/50 chance of it being paid.
