Wiki Billing for visits saved as PDF's

I work with a provider that uses a virtual coach (RD's, nutritionists) for dietary surveillance and counseling. The coach creates a visit note and then sends the note through a secure connection to be saved in the providers EMR as a PDF. Can this visit be billed the same way as a visit note created in the EMR?
