If anyone can assist.... I have been trying to navigate Medicare's website for guidelines on how to bill for the rabies vaccine in an Urgent Care setting. Also, does anyone know whether the vaccine is even covered by Medicare? I have found conflicting information about it being covered under Part B, D and not covered at all.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Rabies

Did you call your MAC--the patient needs the vaccine, but I would have them sign an ABN and exlain to them you can't get infor if it is covered. I would say administration is under b and vaccine is under D--the only vaccine b covers is flu and pnemonia
