We have an Endocrinologist that now has an RDN working with her. There are times when a patient comes in to see the doctor and if the RDN has an opening for the same day, the Dr will refer to the RDN. This is creating 2 separate visits and the claim for the RDN is getting denied with the insurances that do not credential the RDN's. Is there ANY modifier that can go on the RDN charge to have it covered?

New to this specialty, so I would appreciate all the help!
