Wiki Billing for Oral meds given in office

Hello,

My doctor administers Ranitidine and other oral meds all the time in the office. Are oral drugs administered in the office usually not billed, or could they be billed with
code J3490?
Any input would be helpful.

If you look at the HCPCS descriptor for the J codes, you'll see the title "HCPCS Drugs administered other than oral Method. (italics are mine)
