Can a NP or PA render services but be billed under MD? If so is there a particular modifier. Medicare we would be billing under the NP since she is credentialed but she is not with most commercials. I have looked all over the internet for texas guidelines and rules and I can't find anything recently posted referring to this. TIA

Your non-physician practitioners will be paid less if they bill under their own name than if they bill under the MD. If they are following the incident-to guidelines, their services should be billed under the MD.
