Does anyone know how to bill and/or if we can bill for joint education classes? The patient will come in for an appointment at which time a decision is made for surgery and then the patient is scheduled to come back in for the education class. Our physician has just started doing these classes in a group setting and is dispensing an antiseptic wash and is dictating an office note for each patient. I was thinking that we could not, but the physician is being insistent that we can. Any help with this is much appreciated. Thank you.
