Can anyone give guidance on billing for H&P performed by a PA or MD under the same tax ID as the surgeon the day of surgery at an ambulatory center?
 
You can't bill for E&M on the same day as procedure its global and included in the surgical fee. Only and E&M that was decision for surgery that can be paid separate. ASC are pre-scheduled surgeries. the decision for surgery was done prior to the scheduling of the surgery.
