I bill for a PCP who wants to hire a Graduate professional counsellor to see pt in the practice and bill under the practice.
Problem is to the best of my knowledge no insurance credentials these counsellors so, how do I bill for the services?
Someone at Carefirst told me I can bill for the PCP visit when she referrers the pt however that does not cover the service of the counselor.
Thoughts/help?
