Is there a code to bill for educational services/counseling for Asthma? Or is this included in the E&M visit code?

It is included in the e/m code as "counseling and/or coordination of care". If counseling is more than 50% of the encounter then time is the key factor in order to qualify for a particular level of e/m service and the time must be documented.
