Wiki Billing for Code 99072

99072 has been hell for our practice! Because they have not assigned RVU's to it no Payers will add it to their system EXCEPT EXCELLUS who we were in communication with immediately upon it's release. They are now (from 9/28 when they added code to their system) processing and paying on 99072! JUST local plans so far..... The code was released 09/08 to end of the PHE, so maybe go back thru to see what's billable for you. We are NOT adding a 59 modifier. MVP/CIGNA/UHC/EMPIRE/FIDELIS/MCD/AETNA so far are refusing to recognize/pay/add this code at this time....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
 
At this point, we're refraining from billing 99072 on payers we know don't yet have it loaded. When/if they do load it, do you think we'll have to resubmit the ENTIRE claim (as a corrected claim) or can we just submit 99072 on the applicable DOS?
