Wiki billing consult same day as surgery

Good morning,

If we are called to consult on a patient whom is inpatient and with that consult we decide to go to surgery....we can still bill the consult with a 57 modifier correct to show decision for surgery?

Yes, we need to bill with modifier 57 to the consultant because of decision of surgery.
