It's been a long time since we have billed this...should POS on claim be the facility the surgery was performed even though we see the patient in our office. for the post op care..Thanks anybody
 
If another physician did they surgery and the post op/ follow-up after surgery is done by another physician, you then use your place of service and ammend the 55 modifier. The place doing the surgery should have amended a 54 modifier stating they are only doing the surgery.
