Wiki Bilateral retrograde 52005

Hello,

I was wondering if a bilateral retrograde would be billed as 52005 RT & LT? I have read that it can only be billed once, but technically there are two ureters. Does anyone know why this is?

We've never gotten it paid bilaterally. But you can bill for the 74420 bilaterally.
