Patient had high-grade tear in labrum biceps with a 1.2 cm tear rotator cuff and impingement
High lighting portions of operative note that I have questions on coding
"Through and through tear of rotator cuff, 1.2 cm. Bursectomy, CA ligament resection and acromioplasty done. Bed of bone repaired. Lateral incision extended 2.5 cm. Dissection carried down. Biceps tendon incised. Biceps delivered into wound. TigerLoop was used to capture it.
Tigerloop placed through proximal biceps TightRope anchor. Drill hole made, and a unicortical biceps tenodesis was performed. Rotator cuff fixed in a two-row technique. Medial row was corkscrew anchor and double-armed mattress stitch and lateral was a SwivelLock.
In coding, I am looking at 23430 for a biceps tenodesis, and 23412 for the rotator cuff repair
