Wiki BCBS anesthesia payments

Hi there,

I am wanting to see what your average bcbs anesthesia payment is if you are billing pain cases with MD and CRNA. are you getting paid the same for both providers or typically having to appeal those? Are you getting paid more if only MD is on pain case?

50/50 split between MD and CRNA.

Sorry I was thinking of regular old anesthesia. NP is typically 85% of the physician rate for services other than CPT 00000-09999
