I know 20932 is an add on code. Does anyone know what the base code for this code associated with a hallux rigid correction?

20932 is for the spine. Hallux rigidus is the foot. Your doc would never get bone graft from the spine for a hallux rigidus procedure. They would get it from the calcaneus 20902.

Hi!
I'm actually looking at this code (20932) for a 2-part ACL reconstruction surgery. My doc intends to pack the holes with allograft after removing all the hardware. I am confused about this response because the code doesn't read anything about the spine? I see "spine only" for 20930 and 20931, but not 20932. Do you have any additional guidance?

Somehow your inquiry is linked to the podiatry group with a post about hallux rigidus correction. Start in the 298xx area for ACL reconstruction. A 29888 is the code for arthroscopically aided anterior cruciate ligament repair/augmentation or reconstruction" but there might be a better code within that code family that may be better suited to the procedure that is being performed.
If you meant to ask about the foot, the hallux rigidus repair is in the 282xx family.
