Wiki Bacterial Infection...

When coding for a bacterial infection that has not yet been identified, would I also code for the fever, headache, nausea/vomiting that the patient is experiencing? Or is it implied with the infection? Patient has ESRD and Hx of MRSA. I'm coding for the consulting ID doctor. Patient was admitted for fever, headache, nausea/vomiting. Cultures are growing gram negative rods, but no definitive tests yet as to what organism. ID was consulted because patient still has fever after abx have been started and they cannot identify source of infection.
