TECHNIQUE: Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) was performed as an
adjunct screening mammography utilizing the Invenia ABUS device (GE
Healthcare). A 15.3 cm wide concave transducer (6-15 MHz frequency
ranged) was used to acquire Anterior- Posterior image data slices in
the axial plane in central, medial, and lateral positions of the
breast volume. Additional image data slices in the axial plane were
obtained in the inferior position of the breast volume on the right
and in the inferior and superior positions of the breast volume on
the left.
